The Cherry Lake Study corridor is from SR 19 to US 27, in the Cities of Groveland and Minneola. The purpose of the Preliminary Engineering Study is to evaluate widening and resurfacing the existing facility to include paved sholders, provide intersection and drainage improvements, and sidewalks on parts of Cherry Lake Road from SR 19 to East Apshawa Road, in conjuction with East Apshawa Road from Cherry Lake Road to US 27 and Jalarmy Road from Cherry Lake Road to CR 561.
What is a Preliminary Engineering Study?
The purpose of a Preliminary Engineering Study is to confirm the need for improvements and determine the most feasible alternatives. The study will develop several possible alternatives and evaluate the impacts on the community and the environment. It will also inform the public on the status and progress of the study through public meetings, and small group meetings.
